The Seville Chamber of Commerce distinguishes Puerto de Indias gin with the ‘New Business Initiative Award’

The award was presented during the ‘Business and Economy Night’ ceremony, which took place yesterday in the Antares Business Club, in Seville.

Seville, 11th of June, 2015. The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Seville presented Puerto de Indias Premium Gin with the ‘New Business Initiative’ Award in recognition of the efforts made by the company located in Carmona (Seville) and the noteworthy level of acceptance that their product has gained.

The award, which was accepted by brothers Jose Antonio and Francisco Rodriguez Fernandez, founding partners of the Puerto de Indias Gin, was presented in the Antares Business Club in Seville in a ceremony during which the Chamber of Commerce paid tribute to the efforts and trajectory of a number of local businesses.

The Carmona-based company has grown very rapidly over the past year, optimising its production process with the incorporation of a new manufacturing system that has also led to the creation of new jobs. On the strength of this growth, the Seville-based company has already attained a firm position in the national market following the signing of agreements with the foremost retailers and distribution groups. The product is now being exported to other European countries.

Jose Antonio Rodriguez accepted the award in a speech in which he gave thanks for the recognition in the presence of his brother Francisco and other Chamber of Commerce ‘Business and Economy Night’ attendees.
